What is the difference in wall height and ceiling clearance?
A. The post frame industry uses outside wall height as the industry standard for measuring size. Typically a 10 foot wall height on the outside is approximately 9 feet 4 inches of wall clearance on the inside because of header places and ceiling joists. If you build up your floor with concrete then you will take away additional clearance.
