What is the difference in selecting R or C type as LCD Bias?

0

Answer If the C type bias is selected, an external capacitor is needed, yet it is much power saving. If the R type bias is selected, no external capacitor is needed, but more power consuming. If power consumption is not a key issue, user may choose the R type bias which can save 3 capacitors. Please note when choose C type and 1/3 bias, the LCD voltage is 3/2 VLCD.
