Plaster is the standard finish on most pools and it can be the traditional white or colored, if you wish. The colored plaster is very attractive, but it can discolor or stain. Gemstone is a beautiful, pebble looking finish. While it is more costly, it does not stain or discolor. It is not as smooth as plaster and may seem a little rough on the bottom of more sensitive feet.
