What is the difference in operation using a conventional web server and VBrick MCS / ETV system?
• When you use VBPresenter with a web server, the viewing URL of the live presentation is the PowerPoint file name. When you give a live presentation via MCS, you set up a special “channel” name that appears in the MCS live program guide. This allows a presenter to always have the same “channel” name (for example, “History 101” or “CEO Address”) regardless of the PowerPoint name. For recorded presentations, MCS allows the presenter to enter a title, keywords (for searching), expiration date and publishing folder. • When used with a conventional web server, both the live and recorded presentation name is always the name of the original PowerPoint file. • VBrick MCS / ETV System provides granular permissions, allow you to limit the viewing to only authorized parties. • When used with a conventional web server, the presenter may assign a password.
