AMIE is conducted by The Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata in almost all engineering branches (presently 10 branches) whereas AMIETE is conducted by The Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, New Delhi in three branches Electronics/Computer/IT. In Value, both are equal. AMIE is much easier to complete with less number of subjects.
