Partial inventory should be chosen ONLY when you have no intention of inventorying any more than that one section of the library. For instance, you want to inventory only the professional collection in November but you are going to do a whole inventory at the end of the school year. At the end of the school year, YOU SHOULD choose to do a FULL INVENTORY.
