What is the difference in a ipod and MP3 player?
An Ipod is just a name brand mp3 player. You can often find other reputable brands that make mp3 players much cheaper but are also high quality. Not all mp3 players play videos though. Personally I do not think the price difference is worth the purchase of an Ipod. I have a Sansa mp3 player and I am extremely happy with it. With many students going back to college now, many stores are offering discounts on mp3 players so be sure to check your local ads. Also, closer to Christmas if you want to wait that long. Local stores such as Wal-Mart or Meijer usually carry both Ipods and mp3 players of other brands so you may want to look before buying for comparison in price. You may also want to consider whether you want one that is rechargable or one where you have to replace batteries and how much memory you want.
