Good question. A demonologist is a paranormal researcher who only study’s demons and will at times perform blessings. Most demonologists only know certain symptoms of a demonic haunting and certain methods of blessing and cleansing. An exorcist is usually a Christian clergyman who understands the tactics of demons. In my case I do both the research and exorcism.
