What is the difference from NTSC and PAL?
NTSC (National Television System Committee) is the North American and Japanese standard for digital video recording. Black and white EIA are sometimes referred to as NTSC because almost all NTSC equipment can handle black and white EIA video. PAL(Phase alternating Line) is the North European and Asian standard for digital video recording. Black and white CCIR is sometimes referred to as PAL because almost all PAL equipment can handle black and white CCIR video.
