What is the difference between WRAP and CPA?
The Care Programme Approach (CPA) is a model of care in use in mental health trusts to ensure the needs of the person being looked after are met in a planned and coordinated way that is known and agreed by all those involved in delivery of care. It is a national requirement and includes a comprehensive assessment of the individual’s needs and strengths to help plan for the future. It also includes the wishes of the service user and seeks their agreement to the plan. It is intended for regular review.
