A numeric pager will receive a tone or vibrate alert followed by the display of a telephone number to be called back by the user. Word pagers are capable of receiving a full text message that was entered by the calling party or placed through a 3rd party operator. In addition to receiving a text message from a calling party, Word Pagers can also receive news and information services and in some cases E-mail and facsimile.(Word Paging is not available in all markets).
