What is the difference between withdrawing and discontinuing?

0

Discontinuance is when you withdraw from ALL your current semester classes, and thus are no longer enrolled as a student for the current semester/term. If you don’t want to discontinue, but just want to withdraw from some of your classes, click here for more information. If you will be completing the current semester, but not enrolling the next semester, there is no need to officially discontinue. Simply drop all your future semester classes before the first day of the semester or term online through MyMAP.
