What is the difference between WiFi and Internet 2go service?
WiFi is used to provide a high speed wireless connection within a limited area (in tens of feet) like a home, office, or coffee shop. The 4G service provided with Internet 2go is based on a technology called WiMAX. WiMAX provides a mobile broadband network across a much broader coverage area than WiFi. WiMAX is commonly referred to as a Wide Area Network (WAN) technology, due to its ability to provide a much broader coverage area; e.g., covering most of a metro area, where available.
