WHMIS is about controlled products for industrial use and deals with the effects they can have on the workers who use, handle or who are in the workplace while hazardous materials are being used. TDG Regulation deals with controlling the immediate hazards of exposure to hazardous materials in the event of a spill or leak during transportation via road, rail, and air or across water.
