• A. WATERPROOF means that your dog can swim with the collar on. Being submerged in water wont damage the receiver or make it less effective. WEATHER RESISTANT means that its sturdy enough to use outside, in cold, rain, or snow. Swimming or dunking in water may destroy the receiver unit.
