What is the difference between volunteering and doing an internship?
Whilst there is arguably an overlap between the two, internships are more focused on professional growth, whilst volunteering is focused on personal achievement. Through an internship, professional growth is attained through learning more about your chosen profession through practical training in the form of actual work. Volunteering on the other hand, is more focused on you as an individual, sharing your acquired with a less advantaged group.
