What is the difference between Voice Dial and Voice Recorder?
Voice Dial is for recording your voice and then assigning a contact to it. Voice Recorder, on the other hand, is for recording your voice as a file in the voice gallery. You can use it as a message attachment in Text Messaging or Pix Messaging. To record a name for Voice Dial: • Go to Menu > Contacts > Voice Dial > Record New. • After the recording, you will be prompted to assign a contact to it. Choose the contact. To use Voice Dial: • Hold the SEND key, wait for prompt, and say the name. To record a voice message: • Go to Menu > Toolbox > Voice Recorder > Record Voice. • After the recording, you can save it or send it.
