The VF2825 and VF2111 are designed and optimized for IPTV service and when you auto provision 2111 to 2825, wireless parameters for the Video WLAN are synchronized. The 2825 supports two WLANs: one is Video WLAN and the other is Data WLAN. The Video WLAN runs in bridge mode and the Data WLAN in router mode. LAN ports 1 to 4 belong to Data WLAN. If you connect your laptop (or any computer devices) to 2111 which connects to 2825 Video WLAN, you have to have a DHCP server that provides IP address to devices connected to your 2111. However, if you configure your 2111 to connect to Data WLAN, then your laptop will receive IP address from 2825, and you should be able to ping and manage 2825 by typing 192.168.1.1 from the browswer on your laptop.
