What is the difference between Vectorizing and Digitizing an Image?
The term “vectorize” is most commonly used to describe the process in which we create a Vector image out of a raster image. For example, if your logo was in JPEG format and we need to Cut it in One color vinyl, we would need to “vectorize” it to make it possible to cut. The term “digitize” is most commonly used to describe the process of transforming the image into an Embroidery image. What this means is that the artist will use your logo and “Digitize it” into a file that can be used for embroidering Hats, T-Shirts, Jackets, etc.
Digitizing is the process of converting an image in the form of digital signal. Means it is a conversion of analog signals in digital form. Digitizing information makes it easier to preserve, access, and share. You can also use the digitized image to make creative logo and embroidery patterns.
Vectorization is a process or converting raster graphics to vector graphics. Vector conversion is the use of geometric primitives. Vector conversion improves image quality and compatibility. You can use the image in big or small size without making it blur. It enhances the appearance of the image.
