What is the difference between various types of Chemical peels ?
There are many different formulations and strengths of peels. Superficial peels address only the top layers of skin and can be performed at any spa or salon by a licensed esthetician. Higher strength peels penetrate deeper and require nurse and/or physician oversight- but results and skin improvement will be more dramatic than with a light, skin refreshing peel.
