What is the difference between Vacuum Packing and Vacuum Packing with Gas Flush?

0

Straight vacuum packing involves the evacuation of air inside the bag & chamber as the bag is sealed via the seal bar. So there is up to 99.9% of oxygen taken out of the bag depending on the degree of determined vacuum setting you have. Using the Gas Flush system on a model designed for the input of gas, the same evacuation of air within chamber and bag takes place , then an input of gas or gas mixture into the bag prior to sealing process. The result is the product will sit in a Modified Atmosphere Package with the gas mixture present. This can assist in a longer shelf-life.
