Well USB and Ethernet are two completely different things but they’re both transports that are used to pass information down wires. They’re just completely different types of wires. So we have cables for both of them or wires, and we have in my right hand an Ethernet cable with has this plastic fitting on the end and in my left hand we have this USB cable, this black one that has a USB fitting on its end. So we have Ethernet cable and USB cable. Notice the differences in them. One thing about an Ethernet cable is that generally speaking it’s always going to be much thicker than a USB cable which is fairly thin. Now why do we have Ethernet cables?
