What is the difference between UPS Daily Rates and UPS Standard List Rates?
UPS introduced UPS Standard List Rates in January 2011 to allow customers to more directly compare UPS rates with those of our competitors. Beginning January 3, UPS Standard List Rates apply to new scheduled pickup accounts and to rates for occasional customers who meet the requirements for a lower published rate. UPS Standard List Rates for UPS ground and international services are the same as UPS Daily Rates. UPS Standard List Rates for domestic air services (UPS Next Day Air®, UPS Next Day Air Saver®, UPS 2nd Day Air®, UPS 2nd Day Air A.M.® and UPS 3 Day Select®) are higher than UPS Daily Rates. Most accessorial and surcharge rates are the same as Daily Rates. See the UPS Standard List Rate and Service Guide and the UPS Daily Rate and Service Guide for additional details. Note: UPS Standard List Rates are available only for shippers based in the U.S. 48 states.
