What is the difference between unboundedness and infinity?
Generally, the concept of infinity is also unbounded. Any specific concept which is described as infinite, is bound by it’s dimensionality (e.g. infinite numbers are bound by the domain of numbers, infinite distance is bound by planar dimensions &c.). Unboundedness is not necisiarilly infinite. If something is unbounded, it is not subject to external forces. However, it could be subject to it’s own limitations. For example, lets say a person pilots a rocket ship. They break free of Earth’s gravity, and have become “unbounded”. Gravity no longer has an effect on the ship. However, the ship is subject to the limitations of it’s pilots health and it’s own fuel suppy.
