Tundra and Taiga are both ecosystems. The Taiga is zone between the borreal forest and the tundra. As you travel up in elevation you move from the forest to the taiga to the tundra. Unlike the dense forest the taiga as small trees that are more spread out. The tundra has virtually no trees at all.
