What is the difference between translation and localisation?
Translation of a document is a process whereby a translator converts a document from one language to another, and the final translated text reads in Russian in much the same way as it would in English. Localization has been defined as “the process of modifying products, services or language to account for differences in distinct markets”. Localization is a much broader process than just linguistic translation as cultural and technical issues must also be taken into account.
