What is the difference between transferring and waiving a course?

A course transfer allows you to earn credits in the MSF program for work done elsewhere. A waiver of a core course only means that you can proceed to take electives that require the core course as a pre-requisite. A waiver does not earn credits in the program. You still must complete 12 courses in the MSF program.
