What is the difference between traditional (fractional) vs. digital odds (decimals)?
Examples of traditional odds (fractional odds) are 2/1 and 1/2. Traditional odds are excluding your own stake, meaning that betting €10 with the traditional odds of 1/1 would give you a €10 profit if you win the bet. Digital odds (decimal odds) like 2 and 2.5 include your own stake. If you receive odds of 2 on a €10 bet, your profit would be €10 and odds of 3 would constitute a €20 profit. Examples of traditional Odds to Decimal Odds conversions are below: 1/4 = 1.25 1/3 = 1.33 1/2 = 1.50 4/7 = 1.57 4/6 = 1.67 5/6 = 1.83 1/1 = 2.00 6/5 = 2.20 11/8 = 2.38 6/4 = 2.50 7/4 = 2.75 2/1 = 3.00 9/4 = 3.25 5/2 = 3.50 11/4 = 3.75 3/1 = 4.00 5/1 = 6.00 10/1 = 11.
