What is the difference between TM and ®?
TM is a symbol telling the third parties that the mark next to it is a trademark used to distinguish the product or service provided. It can be either registered or not. However, when a symbol ® is placed against a mark, it indicates to the public that the mark is a trademark already registered in the country. One should not use this symbol before his trademark is successfully registered in that country.
