What is the difference between TIP and Physics Today?
Physics Today, which is also published by The American Institute of Physics, publishes articles of interest to a wide range of physicists–in industry, academia and government–and attempts a balance across a full spectrum of subjects. So there are articles on industrial and applied physics in Physics Today, but to include as many such articles as are published in The Industrial Physicist would mean not covering other areas of physics. The Industrial Physicist concentrates on industrial and applied physics, and is designed to reach an audience particularly interested in that niche.
