What is the difference between this course and the Basic ICD-9-CM Coding Course?
This course emphasizes basic coding skills specifically for coders in physician offices. The course differs from the Basic ICD-9-CM: Introduction to Coding course in that it contains no references to procedure codes (Volume 3). Only Volumes 1 and 2 are used in physician office coding which is why Volume 3 references are omitted from this course. How long does it take to complete the course? This course (including the 66 question final exam) takes approximately 4 hours to complete. Is there any way that I can get printed course materials from taking the online course? Yes, printed course materials can be obtained by simply printing them off your printer prior to submitting your self-assessment test. Do I have to download files onto my computer to obtain course information? No, all information is available in the online CE section of our Web site, no download is needed.
