What is the difference between this blog and the fansite?

Firstly, blogs are flows, sites are stocks. While the fansite is a fantastic archive of Ms Ehle’s professional publicity materials, the blog mostly points to news and tidbits about her; you won’t find many full text articles or photos here. Secondly, the blog tries to find things that have slipped through the cracks of the site. The assumption is that you have all read everything on the site and anything on there is not news. Thirdly, the editorial standards are different. Whereas the site only records official materials, this blog often survives on stories from fans, reviews from bloggers, e-mailed information and the like. We also dig up things from the EhleNews archives so that the information can be shared more publicly. Fourthly, there is a difference in tone. We editorialise more (read: make silly commentary- like this). Fifthly, the blog is more interactive; you can comment on any post and we encourage you to do so.
