What is the difference between the word collage,collegeand collate?
Collage is a technique of composing a work of art by pasting on a single surface various materials not normally associated with one another, as newspaper clippings, parts of photographs, theater tickets, and fragments of an envelope. College is an institution of higher learning, esp. one providing a general or liberal arts education rather than technical or professional training. To collate is to gather or arrange in their proper sequence (the pages of a report, the sheets of a book, the pages of several sets of copies, etc.).
