What is the difference between the Wish List and the Gift Registry?
The Wish List is a private place to hold items that you are interested in. The Gift Registry is a searchable list that you can provide to friends and family so that they have an idea of the products that you would like to receive. To set up a Gift Registry, you will need to login or register a new account by clicking on ‘Login’ or ‘Register’ at the top of the page. In order to create a Gift Registry, your Wish List needs to be created first. After you are logged in or registered there will be an “Add to Wish List’ button on each product page. Add each product that you are interested in to your Wish List. When you are done adding items to your Wish List, go to the bottom of the Wish List page. Under the Gift Registry heading there is a ‘new event’ link. Click on ‘new event’ and enter all relevant information on the next page. Under each product on your Wish List, you now have the option to move the product to a Gift Registry event.
A wish-list is a list of things which one wants to buy when one has the money. This list is not shared with others. Whereas the gift registry is a list that is shared with friends and family so that they can buy the things from your list which you need.
