What is the difference between the VR and VTR models?
The VR series recorder are not enabled for voice-to-text compatibility, but do offer even higher compression and all the recording and editing features needed to work with compressed voice files. The VTR series recorder have slightly reduced compression, but are optimized for voice-to-text compatibility, and have additional features such as more folders, file and folders notes, higher capacity memory cards, and a more advanced PC program.
