What is the difference between the upgrade, full, student, and demo versions?
The demo version of Reference Manager is a fully functional trial version that is restricted only in that it will allow you to open any given database 20 times. The upgrade version is the same as the full version except that you are required to own a previous version (any previous version) of Reference Manager in order to be eligible for the upgrade version. Note that you do not need to have a previous version actually installed in order to install the upgrade version, but you will need to know the serial number from your previous version as well as the serial number of your upgrade version in order to install the upgrade.
