What is the difference between the UCO Foundation and the University of Central Oklahoma?
The UCO Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization with a mission to support the University of Central Oklahoma. Having an independent foundation means greater fundraising efficiency and benefits for the University. We ensure the proper stewardship of all gifts to the Foundation, manage and invest assets strategically, provide flexible and prompt responsiveness to funding needs, protect the confidentiality of our donors’ records, and ensure our processes meet or exceed federal accounting standards for nonprofit organizations.
