The higher carbon content of TSKgel ODS-100Z adds additional hydrophobic characteristics beyond that present in TSKgel ODS-100V columns, allowing the TSKgel ODS-100Z resin to be more selective toward hydrophobic compounds. Conversely, the lower carbon content of TSKgel ODS-100V makes it more retentive toward polar compounds.
