What is the difference between the three sizes of Poodles: Standard, Miniature, and Toy?
Poodles are the same breed regardless of size. Toy Poodles are 10 inches tall or less at the shoulder, Minatures are 15 inches or less, and Standards are 15 inches or taller. You may see “teacup” (very small toys) or “royal” (very large Standards) advertised for sale. These are not AKC accepted sizes.
