The THEA test dates are scheduled by the state and are typically given one Saturday each month. THEA is a paper-based test that must be sent off for scoring, so students will not receive their test scores back for 2-3 weeks. To retest, the student must pay the full fee of $29 each time. The ACCUPLACER test is given on the computer, and students can take the test at any time during the Testing Centers office hours. Students get their test results immediately following completion of the test. To retest, the student only pays $10 for each section of required retesting.
