The Tail of the Dragon is eleven miles of concentrated twisties with minimal scenery. The main activity is riding. As Nancy would say, “it’s all about the road.” The Moonshiner28 is 103 miles of mountain riding with a wide range of road types, fantastic scenery such as mountain lakes and waterfalls, a good selection of dining, quaint antique and crafts shopping, and many accommodation options. Take in the local culture and nature’s beauty. And there are many side roads to explore. Stay a week if you can.
