What is the difference between the “standard” and the “enterprise” version of vSM?
• The “standard” version contains all the necessary modules and components for the installation and operation of an automated terminal server / Citrix environment. This product fits perfectly in small and mid-size environments with either a limited number of Citrix servers or a lower requirement regarding the needed expenditure of time for the automated installation process. The “standard” version comes with it’s own deployment engine (Installation Control Service = ICS), which supports only one distribution point and has no site replication functionality. • The “enterprise” version targets on large or mid-size environments with a high amount of Citrix servers or high requirements regarding a short installation time. Therefore the built-in deployment engine from visionapp (ICS) supports multiple distribution points, site replication and additonally offers connectors and integration functions for third-party suppliers of client deployment systems like Microsoft SMS, enteo NetInstall/OSD
