What is the difference between the speed limits on the small yellow signs and the larger black and white signs?
The speed limit on the small, square, black and yellow signs are advisory speed limits and are normally used in conjunction with a sign warning of a curve. These signs are posted for driver safety and guidance. The black and white speed limit signs are regulatory. If a driver is found to be exceeding this limit, it is a ticketable offence.
