What is the difference between the Specific Skills Program and the Complete Training Program?

0

Almost 75% of the on ice sessions in these two programs are the same. Both offer up to 6 hours of ice per day. The Specific Skills Program was designed to allow a skater to focus on a particular set of skills without spending a full day on the ice. The option to take a 2 hour session or 4 hour session is available. Over half of the skaters in the Specific Skills Program attend all 3 sessions. The Complete training program has a more team focused approach to the learning environment. With the Complete program the class make up is the same at the start and end of each day. Students are on the same team for the whole week and compete for the Northern Freeze Cup which is awarded on Fridays. Students eat lunch together and participate in lunch time activities. The last hour of each day is a scrimmage. See program descriptions for more details.
