what is the difference between the sony mdr v700dj and the sony mdr z700 dj headphones?
The Z700DJ is the Japanese version of the V700DJ. The technical specifications are the same. The only difference I managed to dig out is that the Z700DJ come with an additional 6.5mm plug along with the standard 3.5mm. The Sony MDR-V700 headphones are intended for general audio, studio use and DJ monitoring. They are very high quality with excellent clarity and bass. What this guide is issuing is the difference between the MDR-V700’s and the MDR-Z700’s, these are often described to be the same model but they are not. Yes they maybe 100% genuine Sony but they are not the same as the MDR-V700’s.
