What is the difference between the services I would receive from Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs and Catholic Social Services – Diocese of Charlotte?
Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs will assist families in meeting Colorado adoption standards, including training requirements, preparation of the Home Study, assistance with the Citizenship Immigration Services application and approval, and provision of post adoption reports and support. Catholic Social Services – Charlotte will provide all assistance related to the international adoption requirements, including the preparation of the Dossier, translation of documents, coordination of the referral, and assistance with facilitating all travel requirements. They will also oversee the staff/facilitators in the foreign country that provide translation, guide and transportation services to families.
