What is the difference between the senior and collegiate teams?

0

The biggest difference between the two teams is test level. USFS requires that all senior team skaters have passed novice moves in the field, and that all collegiate team skaters have passed juvenile moves in the field. However, most of our senior skaters have past senior moves in the field, andmost of our collegiate skaters have passed novice moves in the field or above. Aside from test levels, the senior team practices eight hours a week, while the collegiate team practices four to five hours a week. Both teams participate in edge class and off-ice workouts together, as well as team events, functions, travel, and team gatherings. We pride ourselves on having two teams that are very well connected, as the two teams function mainly as one tight-knit group.
