What is the difference between the Select Text and the Select Paragraph tool?
The difference between the Select Text tool and the Select Paragraph tool is how the text is grabbed out of the PDF file. In Jaws PDF Editor v2 and above, the name of these tools have changed to Select Text Line and Select Text Area respectively. The Select Text [Select Text Line] tool will take text across a page. If you have a multi-column page and you use the Select Text tool, it will grab all the text across the whole page and not keep it separate. If you use the Select Paragraph [Select Text Area] tool, you can grab a single column of text at a time. Neither tool will grab formatting.
