What is the difference between the regular fit and trim fit?

Our regular fit shirts are generously full cut and our trim fit generally drops the regular fit down by 5 inches in the chest measurements and 6 inches in the waist – this is not to be considered an “athletic” cut shirt but is a “trimmer” fit from the full cut regular fit shirts.
