What is the difference between the Pre-Season and the Training Season?

0

Pre-season is the a period of time before the actual climbing season starts that climbers will be personally responsible for getting into cardiovascular and climbing condition. This year, each climber will receive a Target Training Program prior to the pre-season. The Target Training Program will guide each climber through problem areas and targets to get them ready for the training season. Climbers are required to attend the pre-season training practices to practice on their own or with a training partner. Competitive climbers will be held accountable for reaching all benchmarks in their Target Training Program before the Training Season starts. The Training Season involves structured practice training with the coach. In the fall, the Competitive Team curriculums will focus on climbing and training theories and conditioning.
